The Standard Vanderslice features the work of award-winning jazz composer and lyricist
Ellen Vanderslice. Seven brand new love songs are presented along with
seven favorites from previous releases. Stellar performances are rendered
by jazz vocalists Amandah Jantzen, Marilyn Keller and Rebecca Kilgore,
and Ellen herself is heard on five tunes.
The singers are backed by a variety of
ensembles featuring some of Portland's finest musicians.
